Get to know the magical cities and charming culture of Central Europe on a journey through three incredible capital cities by train! In Prague, stroll through the fairytale streets of this 'City of a Hundred Spires' before discovering the artistic legacy of enchanting Vienna. Finally, explore the Hungarian capital of Budapest, on the banks of the River Danube.


1st Day: US - Night on board
Set off for your departure airport, ready to catch a flight to the Czech capital of Prague*. Night on board.


* If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.

2nd Day: Prague

Arrive in Prague, known for its fairytale old town, lively nightlife and nicknamed the 'City of a Hundred Spires'. Transfer to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day exploring at your leisure. Overnight stay in Prague.


3rd Day: Prague

Breakfast at the hotel. Set off on a city tour of Prague, nicknamed the 'Golden City'. See the famous Powder Tower and explore the Old Town. Reach Old Town Square home to the famous Astronomical Clock, one of the most popular sights in Prague, and the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn. Finish the tour at the iconic Charles Bridge. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure to explore the sights and sample the local cuisine at your own pace. Alternatively, enjoy an optional folklore-themed dinner* in a traditional Czech restaurant. Overnight stay in Prague.

4th Day: Prague

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a day exploring Prague at your leisure. Get to know its atmospheric old town, people-watch from the cafe terraces or explore Prague's various museums and art galleries. Alternatively, enjoy an optional boat ride through Prague's canals*. Overnight stay in Prague.



*Boat Ride Through Prague's Canals: Embark on a boat ride along the canals of ‘Little Venice’ and gaze at the most emblematic monuments from the Vltava River. Cross the famous Charles Bridge to the historical center district, Malá Strana, and end the excursion at the fascinating Charles Bridge.

5th Day: Prague - Vienna

After breakfast at the hotel self-transfer* to the train station to catch a train to Vienna, a journey of around 5.5 hours. Travel through the beautiful landscapes of Bohemia and Moravia towards Austria and its capital, Vienna. Arrive in Vienna, an imperial city famed for its artistic legacy and for being the home town of Mozart and Beethoven. Self-transfer* to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day exploring at your leisure. We recommend heading to the historic centre to enjoy the charming atmosphere. During the summer the riverbanks come alive with lively bars and restaurants, so be sure to check this out if the weather is pleasant. Overnight stay in Vienna.

6th Day: Vienna

Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the 'City of Dreams' today on a Vienna city tour. Take the Ringstrasse ring road to see some of the capital's most important buildings including the State Opera House, the Museums of Art History and Natural History, the Museumquartier, the Imperial Palace (the former winter residence of the Emperor), the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The remainder of the day is free to enjoy Vienna at your leisure. Alternatively, you can opt to enjoy a classical music concert*, a must-do activity while in the city! Overnight stay in Vienna.

7th Day: Vienna - Budapest

Breakfast at the hotel. Catch a train this morning to travel to Budapest, the capital of Hungary, a journey of around 2 hours 50 minutes. After enjoying the changing landscapes of the Danube Delta arrive in Budapest and self-transfer* to the hotel. The city is famously divided in two by the River Danube Buda and Pest, each with its own distinctive atmosphere. Spend the afternoon at your leisure. Overnight stay in Budapest.

8th Day: Budapest

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, embark on a fantastic panoramic guided tour of the beautiful city of Budapest. Start the tour at Heroes' Square, the largest and most impressive square in the city and emblem of the Golden Age of Pest. Pass by the spectacular neo-Renaissance theater of the National Opera and the imposing Budapest Parliament, one of the tallest and most iconic buildings in the city.

Arrive at the banks of the mighty Danube, where you can appreciate a spectacular panoramic view of the part of Buda, the former capital of Hungary until unification in 1873. See the famous Castle Hill, the Buda Castle and the amazing neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque architecture of the Fisherman's Bastion are located. Finally, enjoy a magnificent view of the oldest and most photographed bridge in the city, the glorious Chain Bridge. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you see fit. Overnight stay in Budapest.

9th Day: Budapest - US
